ROME & CAPRI WEEK TOUR
The Itinerary of your 7 Day Rome and Capri Italy Tour
DAY 1- Arrival to Rome
Arrive at Rome’s airport and meet your English speaking assistant, then transfer to your hotel in Rome centre for accommodation. In the late afternoon a walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Overnight.
DAY 2– Rome- Vatican
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning half day tour of the Vatican Palace, the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel; then the Basilica of St. Peter and St. Peter’s square. Afternoon on your own. Overnight.
DAY 3– Rome
Breakfast in the hotel. Half day tour of Ancient Rome, sightseeing of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Capitol Hill. Afternoon on leisure. Overnight. (optional: dinner in a restaurant at Via Veneto symbol of “Roman dolce vita” - € p.p. T.B.D.)
DAY 4– Positano - Sorrento - Capri island
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure with private tour leader to Capri island, but first a short stop for a visit of Positano- picturesque town “between sea and sky” on the fashionable Amalfi Coast. In the afternoon visit Sorrento - trend-setter famous for its lovely panorama over the sea. Then embark jetfoil for transfer to the prestigious island of Capri. Upon arrival on the port Marina Grande meet your assistant and transfer to your hotel in Capri town for accommodation. Overnight.
DAY 5– Capri island
Breakfast in the hotel. Half day sightseeing. In the morning by funicular reach the port Marina Grande and with private guide and boat sail for a visit of Blue Grotto*, where you can admire the marine waters’ fascinating intense and brilliant blue reflection. Afternoon on your own. Overnight.
DAY 6– Capri island
Breakfast in the hotel. Leisure Capri day (optional tours available on request). Overnight.
DAY 7– Departure from Naples
After breakfast in the hotel, embark a jetfoil to reach the port of Naples. Then transfer to the Naples airport and embarkation for your departure flight. End of services.
*The Blue Grotto tour is available if the weather forecast permits. In the case of unavailability, the tour will be substituted with a walking tour of Anacapri town.
